About Me

I'm Bill, owner and principle photographer. I am a native Californian, transplanted in the mid-South. I have always been interested and involved in the arts. Photography is my chosen field, but I have backgrounds in both fine art and graphic design, as well. This gives me a rather unique perspective for my area.

I am passionate about making beautiful, artful, and meaningful images. Images that do more than make you go "wow".

I strive to create images that carry a depth of meaning and sensitivity that reveals the spark of the human spirit and connects with something within us all.

Together with my wife, Judith, I work toward consistently exceeding our client's expectations. Our "mission" is to create images that touch the heart, stir the soul, and inspire a passion for living artfully.

I am constantly pushing myself, trying to expand the limits of my own creativity. Ultimately, for me, it's all about beautiful, powerful images.

Be inspired.

Ally | Blytheville/Gosnell/Armorel Family and Children’s Photography

I can’t show you Ally’s pictures without sharing an amazing story, as well.
I had the pleasure of shooting the Austin family a couple of years back, and the images from that shoot were instant faves.Recently, Ally expressed an interest in horses. Jason (Ally’s dad) took time out of his busy schedule to begin investigating. He...

The Jenkins Girls

Well, well. Our first ever photo session with people and horses… and it couldn’t have gone better!
I had the pleasure of photographing the lovely Lauren with her horse Smarty, sporting her Western riding style. Then I had the pleasure of photographing the sparkling Megan with her horse Shorty (note the hint of sarcasm in the...

2nd Annual Model Search

It’s that time again! Last year’s first annual model search was such a huge success we had to open up a second day for shooting to accommodate the overflow of Bell Photo Art enthusiasts. Everyone was so pleased with what we did. This year we’re doing things just a little different. We’re still working with the...

Artist’s Insight #1

Being an art photographer is… interesting. Many, many times, photographers find themselves in a proverbial corner. They become very good at what they do, but they do it in a very prescribed and predictable way. Their “look” becomes their hallmark…and their curse. Often, photographers find themselves doing the same thing, over and over again, until...

Gatsby | Blytheville Children Photography

Meet the great Gatsby! This precious little lady is also quite the busy bee! Not at all concerned with posing for pictures, she was an interesting challenge to capture. Just the way I like it! We had fun, played games, and even took a few photographs along the way.
I was quite pleased with the images...

Back from California! | Blytheville High School Senior Photography

We had an incredible time in San Diego! Well, Coronado Island, to be exact… home of the fabulous Del Coronado Hotel. It sits like a diamond perfectly set within the quiet community. The hotel itself is right on the beach, which means…you guessed it! Fine-art seascapes coming soon.
While we were there, we heard awesome speakers,...

Catching Up

Just sharing some of my favorite shots from some of our recent sessions. These were all short sessions compared to our full family sessions, but that didn’t keep us from making magic.
We had a great time, despite the unruly wind, and produced some excellent images in our signature style. Thanks to everyone who came out!

The...
